Serenity Trips is a travel service for people in recovery programs and their friends.  The founder, George Waterman, has been in recovery for 27 years.  His wife is also a member of a 12-Step program.  We organize weekend, national and international trips.  All trips have optional meetings for those who wish to attend.  Because it is sometimes difficult for individuals to leave the safety of their own groups and meetings and take a chance on travel, we try to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere where it is possible to enjoy yourself without drinking or drugging.  In the past, we have sponsored cruises to the Caribbean, trips to Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire.
